Jordan University of Science and Technology Holds Workshop on Integrating Digital Skills in E-Learning
The Deanship of Academic Development and Quality Assurance at Jordan University of Science and Technology organized a training workshop entitled “Leveraging Digital Skills in E-Learning" during the period 12–14/2/2026, via Microsoft Teams. The workshop is part of a series of accredited workshops for faculty members for academic promotion purposes. It was delivered by Dr. Mustafa Al-Radaideh.
The workshop was inaugurated by Professor Maher Tadres, Dean of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, who emphasized in his remarks the importance of empowering faculty members to effectively utilize modern digital technologies in the educational process. He highlighted that this contributes to the development of smart learning environments, enhances academic performance, and improves the quality of learning outcomes, in alignment with the university's digital transformation agenda and commitment to quality assurance in education.
The workshop aimed to equip faculty members with practical academic digital skills that enhance the quality of e-learning and smart education. This was achieved through the effective use of digital tools available within the university environment, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft applications that support teaching, digital automation tools, and generative artificial intelligence tools.
The workshop featured practical applications and interactive sessions designed to strengthen faculty members' ability to manage educational content, organize student engagement, and analyze student data. These efforts contribute to improving teaching efficiency, reducing administrative workload, and achieving more effective learning outcomes, while emphasizing adherence to ethical standards in the use of modern technologies in education.
