Enas Hasan is the General Manager of PRU (Pharmaceutical Research Unit); a Jordanian
CRO with Jordan, US FDA, EU, GCC, Turkish and Malaysian accreditations. She spent 22 years in various roles in the Pharmaceutical Industry, in R&D, Technical,
Licensing, Intellectual properties and Regulatory Affairs Departments; in JPM and HIKMA
Pharmaceuticals; before joining PRU in April 2020. She earned a M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Jordan in 2000,
and Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from the same university in 1997. In September of 2019, she decided to follow her dream and enroll in the Ph.D. program of Pharmaceutical
Technology in the Jordan University of Science and technology.
Muhammed Alzweiri, PhD.

Dr. Muhammed Alzweiri is a professor in pharmaceutical analysis at the University of Jordan. He graduated from the University of Jordan in 1998, then he did his master degree from the same University in 2003. After that, he finished his PhD from the University of Strathclyde in 2009. He has published more than 50 scientific papers so far.
Nimer Alkhatib, PhD.

Nimer has over 12 years of work experience in various health care sectors worldwide. In 2011, Nimer completed his PharmD degree from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in Jordan. During his studies, he served in World Health Organization (W.H.O) and as a regional projects officer for the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (IPSF). Right after his graduation, he worked in community pharmacies and pharmaceutical industry in the middle east region. Then, between 2015 to present, Nimer has served as a health economic analyst and consultant for various health care agencies and pharmaceutical industry in the USA and Europe. During the period of 2015 to 2019, Nimer received a full scholarship for graduate studies from the Center of Health Outcomes and PharmacoEconomic Research (HOPE center)/University of Arizona, USA. In 2019, Nimer received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the major of pharmaceutical economics and outcome research from the University of Arizona, USA. In 2017, Nimer received his Master degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the major of pharmaceutical economics and outcome research from the University of Arizona, USA. Nimer has received many excellence awards for his academic performance throughout his academic career. During Nimer's journey with graduate school, he had the honor to lead projects for the Department of Health Services (Arizona), Banner University Hospital, Matrix_45 Health Care. LLC, and Precision Medicine Initiative. Nimer has presented the HOPE center in many conferences, working meetings, and interviews in the US. Based on these experiences and more, Nimer has a great scientific contribution to make to the health care community. His publications have topped the number of 52 over the last 5 years, being published in high-tiered journals like Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA), Blood, Journal of Medical Economics (JME) and others. Nimer focus is in the value of health care and methods for value-based pricing. Currently Nimer serve as business partner and advisory board member with Pi Pharma Intelligence. In this position Nimer helps Pi Pharma Intelligence to integrate with academia and optimize the usability of Pi data in scientific research.
Qasem AlRadaideh, PhD.

Dr. Qasem AlRadaideh is a Professor of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Yarmouk University. Currently he is the dean of the faculty of Information Technology and Computer Sciences. Prof. AlRadaideh received his Ph.D. in the Data Mining field from the University Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2005. His research interest includes Applications of Artificial Intelligence in different domains including Medical Domain, Natural Language Processing and Arabic Language Computation. He has several publications in the areas of Artificial Intelligence applications such as text Mining and Arabic Language Computation. In 2012, Prof. AlRadaideh received the Hisham Hijjawi Prize in the ICT track.
Fadia Mayyas, PhD.

Dr. Fadia Mayyas is a professor in Clinical Pharmacy at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST). She completed a Ph.D in translational molecular medicine/molecular cardiology at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic, USA. Dr. Mayyas is an awardee of the American Heart Association doctoral fellowship and the doctoral excellence award in molecular medicine/Cardiology, USA 2011. She joined the faculty of pharmacy at JUST as an assistant professor in 2011 and promoted to a full professor in 2020. Dr. Mayyas has more than 50 publications in human and animal models of cardiovascular diseases including coronary artery disease, heart failure and arrhythmia.

Dr. Fouad Darras is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in the
healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. With extensive experience in various healthcare
institutes and companies, he has significantly contributed to intellectual property, research,
and entrepreneurship.
From 2018 to 2022, Dr. Darras served as the Intellectual Property Head at MS Pharma in
Amman, Jordan. In this role, he was pivotal in managing and protecting the company from
infringing any patent holder rights, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
From 2016- 2018, Dr. Darras has served as a Principal Investigator at the prestigious Mayo
Clinic in Minnesota, USA. In this capacity, he leads and oversees groundbreaking research
projects, contributing to advancements in medical science and patient care.
In 2018, Dr. Darras is the Founder and Executive Chairman of the Resonance Research Lab in
Amman, Jordan. Where this lab in supporting the pharmaceutical industry in all needed
impurities synthesized by Jordanian chemists.
In 2022, Dr. Darras embarked on a new venture by establishing his own business, Baraa for
Pharmaceutical Patent Consultation, based in Amman, Jordan. As the founder and CEO, he
focused on providing specialized consulting services related to pharmaceutical patents. His
expertise in intellectual property and pharmaceutical sciences allowed him to assist Bara's
clients in navigating the complex landscape of patents in all their portfolios, allowing them to
direct their investment in the right direction and reducing the risk of litigation.
Ali Hmedat, PhD.

Dr. Ali Hmedat is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at Yarmouk University. He received his BSc in Pharmacy from Jordan University of Science and Technology. Then he completed his Master's and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Martin Luther University, Germany. His research centers around tumor biology, molecular oncology, combination treatments for head and neck cancer, IGF2BP1's role in ovarian and head and neck cancer and assessing compound efficacy and safety for anticancer activity.

Dr. Shah Alam Khan is currently working as a Professor of Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry at the College of Pharmacy, National University of Science and Technology, Muscat, Oman (In academic partnership with West Virginia University, USA). He received his Ph.D. from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, India in 2003 for studying the chemistry and role of Silybum marianum (Milk thistle), silymarin and its synthetic analogues in the hepato-protection. He is a recipient of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF-UGC, GATE qualified) and Senior Research fellowship (SRF, CSIR) from the Government of India for pursuing master's and doctorate degrees. He has more than 20 years of teaching and research experience. He has been serving NU (formerly known as Oman Medical College) for the past twelve years. His field of research interests includes synthesis and biological evaluation of natural products and synthetic heterocyclic compounds. He has contributed in more than 175 full length research articles in the national/international journals of repute. He is an editorial board member of several international journals and has reviewed scientific papers in the field of pharmaceutical sciences for more than 50 journals. He has supervised 38 undergraduate and post graduate research projects. Several of these projects have received awards in poster/oral presentation category at international conferences. He has successfully completed five funded research projects. He has been invited as a guest speaker in several national and international conferences. He was awarded 'Best Teacher' in Pharmacy at Oman Medical College for the academic year 2010-11, and 2011-12 and 2015-16. He is a life member of many professional bodies such as IPA, ATINER, IPGA and APTI.
Youssef Naimi, PhD.

Prof. Youssef Naimi is a material scientist, graduated from "Pierre & Marie Curie University", Paris, France with a DEA (Master) and Doctoral thesis in 1994 in Chemistry (optimization of the hydrogen electrode in H2/O2 solid polymer Fuel Cell. He works as Associate Professor at Ben M'Sick Faculty of Science, Hassan II University of Casablanca. He conducted research for on the optimization of electrodes of Protons Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells, and obtained his state Doctorate in 2006. Dr. Youssef Naimi was conducting research, managing research students, recruiting top talents. He was a member of the network of Microelectrodes users since 2003. He was Co-responsible for the fuel cell program of the inter-university scientific cooperation project of the Francophonie Universities Agency (AUF) (2005-2007). He is Co-responsible of the LEAP-RE project "A data driven digital twin for improved hydrogen storage vessels towards challenges for energy transition" which regroups laboratories from France, Romania, South Africa and Morocco. Esra’a Alomari, PhD.

Dr. Esra’a Alomari is an assistant professor of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Clinical
Pharmacology at Isra University in Amman, Jordan. She obtained a doctor of pharmacy degree
(Pharm-D) from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2012. Alomari received her
Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Pharmacology from the University of Parma, Italy, in 2020. After
completing her Ph.D., Dr. Alomari pursued postdoctoral training in the field of Biomedicine at
Parma University. Her research interests primarily revolve around protein therapeutics for clinical
applications. She has expertise in various aspects of this field, including rDNA technology,
recombinant protein expression, in vivo experiments, and pharmacological studies to evaluate the
efficacy and safety of proteins. As a testament to her contributions to the field, Dr. Alomari's
research findings have been published in reputable scientific journals.
Hayaa Banat, BSc.

Hayaa Banat is a Senior pharmacovigilance specialist and the Head of
Pharmacovigilance Section in Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA).
Hayaa Banat received her Pharm.D. Degree from Jordan University of Science and
Technology and is currently working at Jordan food and Drug Administration (JFDA)
as the head of pharmacovigilance section. A strong advocate of increasing
awareness of the importance of rational drug use, Pharmacovigilance and drug
safety. Hayaa participated in several national and international meetings and
conferences regarding Pharmacovigilance, quality use of medicines, effective
communication. She has an active role in risk management plan (RMP) evaluation,
risk minimization measures (RMM) implementation, patient leaflet updates.
Hayaa is anxious in encouraging health care providers to build a culture based on
patient safety. She has active role in implementing the antimicrobial resistance
National Action Plan.
Hayaa has published many articles in the area of pharmacovigilance and
antimicrobial resistance.
Has a good experience in clinical practice mainly in critical care units (ICU, CCU) as
she worked as a clinical pharmacist at hospitals in Jordan, King Hussein Cancer
Center and Jordan university Hospital.

Qosay Al-Balas, PhD.

Prof. Qosay Al-Balas finished his Bachelor degree in pharmacy in the year 2000 from Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) and master degree in 2004 in phytochemistry from the same institution. In 2008 he finished his PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from Strathclyde University, UK. Since then, he was appointed at JUST and in 2019 he was granted a full professorship. At 2014 he was appointed as chairman of "Pharmaceutical Research Center" at King Abdulla University Hospital (KAUH) in Jordan. He also occupied many managerial positions at JUST.
His research interest is forked to two main disciplines; medicinal Chemistry & Drug Design in addition to Islamic Bioethics. He has more than 60 publications and the main research area is zinc metallo-enzymes inhibition (Glyoxalase-I as anticancer target).

Mo'tasem M. Alsmadi, PhD

Dr. Motasem Alsmadi, an associate professor of biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics at the Pharmaceutical Technology department in the faculty of pharmacy at JUST pursued. He got his BSc in pharmacy -ranking the first in his batch- from JUST in 2009, after which he was sponsored by JUST to pursue his graduate studies in the pharmaceutical technology program at The University of Iowa from which he got his Ph.D. degree on December 2014. On January 2023, Dr. Alsmadi was appointed as a Joint Faculty at the Nanotechnology Institute at JUST.
Dr. Alsmadi had pursued research related to preclinical pharmacokinetics of novel anticancer drugs and pharmacokinetic analysis of anticancer drugs in the presence of modified body physiology induced by cancer and its induced comorbidities (e.g. renal and hepatic impairment) using physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling. Moreover, therapeutic drug monitoring of drugs in saliva to optimize dosing regimens as guided by PBPK modeling was among the research interests of Dr. Alsmadi for immunosuppressants, antibiotics, and central nervous system drugs. This is in addition to Dr. Alsmadi's involvement in the evaluation of the bioavailability of drugs administered by novel formulations intended for oral and sublingual administration. Dr. Alsmadi has expertise related to in vitro, in vivo, and in silico tools used for biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics analysis.
Aref Zayed, PhD.

Aref Zayed is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Analysis at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST). Research interests include development of novel chromatographic and mass spectrometric methods for pharmaceutical and biomedical applications. His recent research focuses on studying drug-drug interactions using various in vitro and in vivo models.
Dr Zayed obtained his BSc in Pharmacy from JUST and got his Master's and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Analysis from Loughborough University in the UK. He was awarded the Overseas Research Scholarship for academic excellence, and the Da Vinci Prize for clinical innovation for his PhD work on platinum cancer drugs. Dr Zayed worked in R&D in Pfizer and GSK in the UK and collaborated with several regional pharmaceutical companies and research centres.
Dr. Nusaiba Al-Nemrawi, PhD.

Dr. Nusaiba Al-Nemrawi is an Associate Professor in Pharmaceutical Technology at Jordan University of Science and Technology. Her current research deals with preparing nanoparticles to be used in the treatment and diagnosis of many diseases including cancer, cystic fibrosis, rheumatoid arthritis and many others. Polymeric and metallic nanoparticles have been prepared in her lab and delivered pulmonary, orally, transdermally and parenterally. Additionally, she also explores the green synthesis of nanoparticles.
