The participation of the E-Learning Center in the annual Orientation Workshop for new faculty members at the university

The e-learning center participated in the annual Orientation Workshop for new faculty members at the university, which was held by the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality Assurance.

During the workshop, the director of the center, Dr. Mahmoud Hammad, congratulated the faculty members on their appointment and gave a brief presentation on the services provided by the center.

Then the colleagues; Eng. Ibtisam Ababneh and Mrs. Alia Al-Zaarer, talked about how to hold simultaneous meetings using MS-Teams software and linking it to the electronic course. After that, Eng. Esraa Al-Faouri introduced the e-learning management platform (Moodle).

Regarding the Open Educational Resources, Mr. Muhammad Al-Qudah explained how to deal with the Maharat platform for continuous learning (Maharat) and the Open Educational Resources  Repository(Just OER Repository) and the need to observe copyright in Open Educational Resources (Creative Commons).

Then, Mr. Diaa Samara introduced the electronic exams management system (A+ Author).

Finally, Mrs. Sajida Musleh introduced the mechanism used at the university to assess the quality of electronic course design through the use of the global Quality Matters rubrics.
