The Center’s visit to Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein Comprehensive Secondary School for Girls in the city of Ramtha
Based on the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects' keenness to support the culture of entrepreneurship and create an environment that stimulates creativity and innovation, and in belief in its societal role, a visit was organized to Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein Comprehensive Secondary School for Girls in the city of Ramtha on Thursday 10/3/2024 in cooperation with the Directorate of Education for Ramtha District, during which a lecture was given on the use of information and communication technology to a group of tenth grade students majoring in information technology in the information technology lab in the school building, and at the end of the lecture, all inquiries that were raised were heard and answered. The delegation included Professor Muhannad Quwaider, Director of the Center, and student Osamah Al-Rantisi from the College of Engineering, where ways of cooperation were discussed and the extent of the possibility of providing support to achieve the research, academic and professional goals of the school's students in the field of information technology.

Fifth Summer Creativity Camp 2024
Based on the university's societal role and its keenness to spread the culture of leadership and innovation in various types of science and knowledge, the activities of the fifth summer Innovation camp were launched at the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects on Monday, 7/8/2024, in the presence of the Center's Director, Professor Muhannad Quwaider, and the Director of the Administrative Services Department, Mr. Wael Tlilan. Which will be held during the period from 7/8/2024 until 8/15/2024, in line with its goals and tasks represented in contributing to supporting education and training activities, exploring talents and creative energies to achieve distinguished performance by talented and creative people on a national scale, and disseminating and disseminating the culture of innovation, creativity, leadership and excellence, as The summer camp aims to provide various training workshops that help school students who are children of university employees build their abilities and skills and exploit the summer vacation period for the benefit of themselves and their families.
It is worth mentioning that it will target school students who are children of workers from the age of 6 to 16 years, based on the type of training workshop and its objectives as follows:

A visit to Nahawand Mixed Basic School in the city of Ramtha to hold a workshop on the topic of artificial intelligence
Based on the role of the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects and its keenness to support the culture of leadership and create an environment conducive to creativity and innovation, a delegation from the Center’s staff and a group of university students, in cooperation with the Directorate of Education of the Ramtha District, visited the Nahawand Mixed Basic School in the city of Ramtha on Tuesday, 3/5/ 2024, the visit included holding a workshop on the topic of artificial intelligence for a group of school students, where a discussion session took place for the students participating in the workshop during which all the questions raised were answered.
It is worth mentioning that this visit is part of the initiatives launched by the Center to serve the community and target school students. The visiting delegation was headed by the Director of the Center’s Administrative Services Department, Mr. Wael Tlilan, and included the Head of the Training Division at the Center, Engineer Nedaa Al-Rabai, and a group of university students, namely: Batoul Annab, Sarah Al-Krones, Hudhayfah Al-Subaih and Mohammad Yaman. Ways of cooperation in the future and the possibility of providing support to the school team participating in the World of Knowledge competition were discussed.
Fourth Summer Creativity Camp 2023
Based on the university's societal role and its keenness to spread the culture of leadership and innovation in various types of sciences and knowledge, the activities of the fourth summer camp were launched at the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects during the period from 7/16/2023 to 8/31/2023, in order to achieve some of its goals and tasks represented in contributing to Supporting education and training activities, exploring talents and creative energies to achieve distinguished performance for the talented and creative at the national level, and disseminating and disseminating a culture of innovation, creativity, leadership and excellence. It will benefit them and their families, as these training workshops will contribute to achieving the Centre's long-term goals and aspirations.
The target group is school students who are children of workers from the age of 5 to 16 years, based on the type of training workshop and its objectives as follows:
- Manual drawing.
- Delivering and speaking to the public.
- Robotics.
- The six simple machines and how to benefit from them in our daily lives.
- 3D aeroplane modeling.
- Photoshop.
- Design of PowerPoint slides and brochures.
- Drawing using pencil and acrylic colours.

Creativity initiative begins with choosing the right specialization
A student initiative was launched by students at the Jordan University of Science and Technology targeting school students and aiming to introduce students in schools to the advantages of university majors while providing a simple explanation about them, as there is a large percentage of students who change their majors after a period of starting to study them as a result of their discovery that they have chosen Wrong and inappropriate for their abilities, skills, and thinking style, which negatively affects their ability to be creative, their energies, and their achievements, the solution to this problem lies in introducing students to the majors while they are still studying at the secondary level, and educating them and training their abilities to choose and make the appropriate decision regarding their university studies. Here comes the role of those in charge of this initiative to raise awareness, define and train the students, listen to their opinions and dialogue with them about their ideas and personal skills. which they wish to acquire.
A student initiative to hold courses in programming languages for the children of university staff and school students
A students initiative had been launched to hold and teach courses in programming languages for the benefit of school students and children of the university staff. The center, through a group of distinguished university students, held two training workshops in programming languages that targeted school students to impart programming knowledge to the students. The knowledge was aimed at serving as the basis upon which they would build their future experiences and as the key that opened them the doors of the world beyond their daily technological experiences. It also served to instill in them an inquisitive mindset, curiosity, and love of knowledge. Thirty eight (38) students, from the ages of 14 - 16, had so far been trained.
A student initiative to hold robot courses for children of university employees and school students.
A students initiative has been organized for children of university employees and school students. The purpose of the initiative is to hold and teach robotics courses for the participants. Robotics knowledge has been associated with recent technological advancement and creativity and thus serves as a basis for future capacity building. Seventy (70) students, from age 12 to 16, have so far been trained.
First aid training initiative for Jordanian university students
First Aid Training Initiative for Jordanian Students This is a voluntary initiative by a number of Jordanian doctors, accredited for training by the American Heart Association, to spread medical awareness and training on the basic principles of first aid. The initiative entitled: "Be a Human and Save a Life" targets, in coordination with the center, Jordanian university students.
Second Summer Creativity Camp 2019
In order to build a talented and creative generation, the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects on 2/7/2019 provided school students with the necessary skills to make optimal use of summer vacation through the following workshops:
- Build a robot.
- The letter has a scale.
- Fimo dough.
- Autonomous driving.
- Food card.
- Presentation.
- Free drawing of 3D perspective.
- Elevate your speech and raise your value.
- Developing creative thinking.
- One hundred and more ways to conserve water at home.

Your creativity initiative is healthy
With the sponsorship and support of the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects, a student awareness initiative was launched entitled (Your Creativity in Your Health), which aims to spread awareness among teenagers about the rules of proper nutrition to combat obesity and chronic diseases. It targeted the age group from 15 to 25 years of school students, where the following visits were conducted:
- Visiting Zahar Mixed Basic School on 4/22/2019 and giving an awareness lecture entitled “Adolescence and Nutrition" to the school's female students, during which the importance of proper nutrition was introduced to prevent infection with many diseases.
- Visiting the King Abdullah School of Excellence on April 30, 2019, where an awareness lecture was given entitled “Psychological State and its Impact on Choosing Proper Food." The dangers resulting from fast food and its dangers, which lead to many chronic diseases such as diabetes and blood pressure, were also presented. The students were urged to focus on eating healthy foods that contain the necessary vitamins to build a healthy body.
During the initiative, the head of the marketing and media division at the center, Mr. Ahmed Hatamleh, presented an introductory overview of the center, its goals and the areas of its work. The initiative was widely welcomed by both schools amid remarkable interaction from the female students. It is worth mentioning that the members of the initiative team are the female students: Ibtihal Al-Shorman, Israa. Al-Samadi, Iman Hazaimeh, Ruba Hazaimeh and Raghad Hazaimeh.
