The Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects organized a workshop on Monday, August 5, 2025, titled "The Innovative Engineer - How to Make a Real Impact Through Entrepreneurship." In Collaborating with the masterminds community The workshop targeted university students from various disciplines, with the aim of providing participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to transform their entrepreneurial ideas into projects with a positive and sustainable impact on society. The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Rami Hikmat Fouad Al-Hadithi, a distinguished professor of industrial technology and production management. He holds a PhD from the University of Bradford, a master's degree from Cranfield, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Baghdad. He has over 30 years of experience in higher education, training, and consulting at the international level, and has received prestigious international awards, including the Queen Victoria Medal from the Institute of Executive Directors in London and the title of "Name in Science" at the Oxford Leaders Summit. He has contributed to the establishment of multiple colleges and academic programs, and has over 69 published research papers, in addition to three books and a wide range of research papers. He is known for his deep passion for education and his extensive impact on developing academic and professional competencies across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, through teaching, training, and active participation in global seminars and media interviews. Since 2019, he has been the Coordinator of the Research Communications Group at the School of Engineering and Digital Technologies at the University of Bradford and a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Global Education and Careers in London. He also holds international leadership positions, including the IEEE (UK and Ireland) Industrial Engineering Specialist Leader, a member of the Oxford Academic Union Council, and the Academic Director of the International Foundation Group Programs in Iraq and Jordan.
