The Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects organized a training workshop on Penetration Testing on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in cooperation with the Computing Technology Club (CTC) at the university. The workshop, which specializes in penetration testing, targeted university students majoring in cybersecurity and those interested in information technology and ethical hacking. The workshop aimed to enhance their skills, raise awareness of the importance of cybersecurity, and qualify them in the field of penetration testing, in line with the requirements of the local and global labor market.

The workshop was presented by information security expert Engineer Akram Barakat from Isnad Information Technology Company (PROTECH). The workshop discussed the basics and benefits of penetration testing, the types of penetration tests, their practical applications, and the career path of a certified penetration tester.
