Workshops Focusing on Design Thinking and the Use of Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality as Part of the Stars of Entrepreneurship Initiative
In a move reflecting the trend toward enhancing
future skills, and as part of the Stars of Entrepreneurship initiative, the
Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects held two training workshops on
Monday, April 6, 2026, at Jumana Secondary School for Girls in Ramtha, focusing
on engineering thinking and the application of artificial intelligence, and
virtual reality. The workshop on engineering thinking and the application of
artificial intelligence was led by university students: Muhammad Ziad from the
College of Engineering, majoring in mechanical engineering, and Raghad
Al-Sharawneh from the College of Computer and Information Technology, majoring
in artificial intelligence. The workshop focused on developing innovation and
problem-solving skills, as well as designing solutions in a systematic manner
that meets the demands of the modern job market. The virtual reality workshop
was conducted by trainer Abdulrahman Maghaira from Ionbit, who reviewed the
latest virtual reality applications and their role in education, training, and
development, while providing participants with a hands-on interactive
experience.
