Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects Organizes Training Workshop Entitled (Circular Economy from Idea to Impact – Youth Solutions from Jordanian Reality)
As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects organized a training workshop entitled "Circular Economy from Idea to Impact – Youth Solutions from Jordanian Reality) on Monday, November 24, 2025. The workshop targeted university students and young entrepreneurs interested in sustainability and green entrepreneurship, with the aim of enabling them to transform ideas into tangible projects that promote environmental and economic sustainability. The workshop addressed a number of vital topics, starting with an introduction to the concept of the circular economy and the principles of sustainable design, followed by a review of successful models from local companies such as Lemonine, and ending with the presentation of practical tools such as Circular Canvas for designing circular business models. It also highlighted the journey of transforming waste into added value and exploring opportunities for financing and building partnerships, with the aim of preparing a generation of leaders capable of addressing environmental challenges and leading the transition to an effective circular economy in Jordan and the region.
The workshop was held based on the Center's belief that young people are the real fuel for positive change and building a sustainable circular economy. As a culmination of its efforts to advance the green economy and sustainability, the workshop was presented by Engineer Alaa Thalji Al-Saudi, founder of Lemonine Water Technology.
