The Innovative Committee at the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects holds its regular meeting
The Innovative Committee at the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects held its regular meeting on Thursday, April 17, 2025, chaired by Professor Muhannad Quwaider, Director of the Center and Committee Rapporteur. The meeting was attended by a group of experts and specialists from within and outside the university. The meeting focused on discussing incubation requests submitted by owners of innovative projects. These were evaluated according to specific criteria, with the aim of selecting and supporting the most feasible ones. The committee also monitored the progress of projects currently incubated in the Center's technology incubator, deciding to extend the incubation period for a number of them to ensure the desired goals are achieved. Additionally, the committee discussed several patent applications submitted to support innovators.
Prof. Quwaider emphasized that these meetings fall within the framework of the Center's commitment to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship and creating an environment conducive to creativity. He noted that the committee is working to overcome obstacles facing promising projects and enable them to achieve a tangible impact at the economic and social levels.
The committee included: Dr. Samah Shatnawi, Vice Dean of Scientific Research; Dr. Ahmed Al-Sharman, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies; Dr. Samer Ayasrah, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Arab Open University; and Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghazawi, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Trimpharma Pharmaceutical Research Company.
