Irbid Innovation Incubator / Makani Project / The Islamic Center Society starts one of its innovative projects, a charging platform project on the campus of the Jordan University of Science and Technology - Center of Excellence for innovative projects.
The charging platform "Smart Seat " project was launched on Monday, 20/09/2021, in the campus of Innovative Projects, with the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Al-Shaboul- CEIP director- and Mr. Fawaz Mazrak'e -"Makani" project manager-, in addition to the technical team, Musab Hamdan, Alaa Bani Mufarrej, and the students participating in the project.
The project is considered one of the innovative projects of the Irbid Innovation Incubator, the Makani project of the Islamic Center Association, funded by UNICEF, and in partnership with the Center of Excellence for Creative Projects, which provided all forms of required support.
The smart seat was manufactured in the Engineering Workshops Unit of JUST and will be mounted in public places to produce and store the solar and motion energies in attached batteries which could be used later to charge mobiles, laptops, and other small chargeable devices.
