As part of the SAXEED.ECO project, supported by the DAAD and in partnership with the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Yarmouk University, the University of Mostaganemi in Algeria, and Chemnitz University in Germany, the Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects at the Jordan University of Science and Technology is pleased to announce the holding of a hackathon titled "Using Technology for Environmentally Friendly Solutions" from June 22-26, 2025, with the possibility of incubating and supporting the idea at the Center of Excellence for Creative Projects. Hackathon participants will receive certificates of participation and training that will accompany the hackathon.

Participation Requirements:

The application period for the hackathon begins on June 1, 2025, and ends on the evening of June 15, 2025.

The participating team must consist of only 2-3 participants.

Participants must be current students from the Jordan University of Science and Technology and Yarmouk University.

A specialized committee will select the best ideas to participate in the hackathon, with 25 students representing approximately 10 teams.

During the hackathon, training will be provided on business model development, conceptual design, presentation skills and requirements for judging panels, and intellectual property protection, enabling participants to prepare the best presentations for their ideas before the judging panel.

The hackathon will be held at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST)/Center of Excellence forInnovative Enterprises campus.

Restaurants and lunch will be provided for participants during the training days.
