Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Salem, President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, the Pharmaceutical Research Center at the 2nd of July organized a ceremony on the occasion of the expansion of the clinical to the capacity of 36 beds. The ceremony was held in the Pharmaceutical Research center in the presence of the Director of the King Abdullah University Hospital professor Khaldoun Bashayreh and a number of deans.
It is worth noting that the Pharmaceutical Research Center/ Jordan University of Science and Technology consists of two wings, a clinical wing, located in the 12th floor, Ward A, at King Abdullah University Hospital, and an analytical wing in the Jordan University of Pharmaceutical Research Center.
The center was established in 2004 as a comprehensive center accredited by the Jordanian Food and Drug Administration for bioequivalence and bioavailability studies in addition to clinical studies and this opening will enable the center to conduct bioavailability and bioequivalence studies which was not able to do in the past.
