About the PRC
PRC, a leading clinical research center, is located on the 12th floor (12A) of King Abdullah University Hospital (KAUH) at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST). Established in 2004, PRC operates independently but is closely linked to the university's presidency to achieve its strategic goals. These goals include fostering connections with the industry, bridging the gap between academia and industry, meeting the needs of pharmaceutical companies, advancing drug discovery, serving the local market, enhancing university employees' capabilities, and improving the skills of graduates and workers in scientific research, pharmaceuticals, and food industries.
PRC benefits from a wealth of expertise and specialties within the modern and esteemed KAUH, as well as the strong scientific infrastructure and highly qualified staff from JUST. This combination positions PRC as a pioneering center for clinical and pharmaceutical research not only in Jordan but also in the region. Accredited by the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA), Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA), and ISO 9001:2015, PRC adheres to locally and internationally accepted Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines for all clinical trials.
With a track record of successfully completing 68 international clinical studies (phase I-IV) and over 20 bioanalytical studies, the PRC team demonstrates its dedication to delivering high-quality services that meet global standards.

Our mission at the Pharmaceutical Research Center (PRC-JUST) is to utilize the presence of the wealthy professional and instrumental resources at JUST & the KAUH to provide time efficient clinical and pharmaceutical research services of high quality, sound scientific background, ethical conduct, and a fully professional vision.

PRC offers unique infra-structure since it is a part of a regional referral educational hospital (KAUH). All measures that assure patients' safety are guaranteed inside the clinical site. It is the only clinical research site in Jordan approved for premenopausal women admission. The Presence of highly qualified physicians in various medical specialties, distinguished pharmaceutical researchers and well-trained PRC staff assures the best quality of research flow.
Exceptional documentation in KAUH with the presence of all the patient's medical records (SOURCE DOCUMENT) in an electronic system that tracks the past 13 years, in addition to the presence of all medical records since the day this hospital was established in 2002. This allows tracking the medical records for all patients. In addition, the high technological fully equipped labs supported by the infrastructure of JUST provide high-quality for bioanalytical studies. Combining capacities of KAUH with JUST in PRC will open the doors for a wide range of clinical and pharmaceutical studies that cannot be performed in another independent research center.
