The team of the Center for Sustainable Development Studies and Technology at the Jordan University of Science and Technology visited the Al-Rafid Women's Association / Irbid, during which they met Mrs. Wedad Obeidat, the president of the association.

The visit comes with the aim of discussing aspects of future cooperation and the possibility of establishing development projects that serve the local community, in addition to discussing the mechanisms through which the available resources in the region can be invested in order to achieve self-sufficiency and sustainable development goals, especially in the areas of agriculture and the exploitation of fertile lands and the abundance of rainwater in the region.

It is noteworthy that this visit comes within the framework of the "Enhancing Community Accountability and Empowering Civil Society Institutions to achieve good governance" initiative, which comes as part of the Nazaha project funded by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development, the European Union Delegation to Jordan and through the donor Life Consultants for Development Research/Rased.
