The Center for Sustainable Development Studies & Technology-JUST at the Jordan University of Science and Technology implemented a training workshop for active members of the local community at the Al-Hassan Bin Talal Forum for Thought and Dialogue in the North/Diwan Al-Fayyad Al-Obeidat in Bani Kanana District/Irbid Governorate, entitled “Principles in Social Accountability and Public Participation and Their Applications in the Health Sector ”

This comes as another activity within the first phase of the project “Developing Effective Social Accountability Strategies for Better Health Outcomes within Jordan,” which falls within the “Enhancing Community Accountability and Empowering Civil Society Institutions to Achieve Good Governance” project, which is implemented in cooperation with the Al-Hayat Center - Rased, As part of the Nazaha project co-funded by the European Union in Jordan and AECID Jordan (the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation)
