Training Workshop on "Social Media Strategies" Held at Jordan University of Science and Technology

Irbid, Jordan – January 26, 2025 – The Center for Sustainable Development Studies and Technology at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) organized a training workshop titled "Social Media Strategies" on Sunday, January 26, 2025. This workshop is the third in a series of training sessions conducted within the framework of the "Sustainable Solutions for Social Cohesion" project, supported by the Norwegian Embassy in Jordan.

The project is implemented by the Center for Sustainable Development Studies and Technology in collaboration with Al-Hayat Center – Rased. The workshop was led by trainer Amer Abu Dalu, with the participation of a group of women from the local community in Irbid Governorate, along with Syrian and Palestinian refugee women residing in Jordan.

The workshop covered several key topics, including:

• An introduction to social media platforms and effective strategies for their use
• Raising awareness about digital security principles and safe online practices
• The importance of digital marketing
• Different types of digital content and their unique characteristics

The training aimed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to use social media platforms effectively and securely, thereby enhancing their role in society and supporting their personal and professional projects.
