Training Workshop on "Social Media Strategies" Launched at Jordan University of Science and Technology
Irbid, Jordan – January 16, 2025 – Professor Ammar Al-Maaytah, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development Studies and Technology at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), inaugurated a training workshop titled "Social Media Strategies" on Thursday. This workshop is the first in a series of training sessions that will cover various topics as part of the "Sustainable Solutions for Community Cohesion" project, supported by the Norwegian Embassy in Jordan.
The project is being implemented in collaboration with Al-Hayat Center – Rased, with training conducted by Amer Abu Dalu. The workshop brought together local women from Irbid Governorate, as well as Syrian and Palestinian refugees residing in Jordan.
The workshop covered several key topics, including an introduction to social media platforms and effective strategies, as well as raising awareness of digital security principles and safe online practices. Additionally, it addressed the importance of digital marketing and explored various types of digital content and their unique characteristics.
The workshop aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to use social media effectively and securely, thereby enhancing their role in society and supporting their personal and professional projects.
