- Provide appropriate academic environment for students and faculty members.
- Participate in the academic programs of the Faculty of Pharmacy by providing quality education and training (graduate and undergraduate) in Organic and Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Product Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry through seminars, coursework, and laboratories.
- Development of proper scientific attitudes and ethics.
- Active participation in scientific meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in Medicinal, Analytical, and Natural Product Chemistry.
- Serve as a resource center and consultants for the pharmaceutical industry.
- Support the needs of the Faculty of Pharmacy in community service activities and outreach programs.
- Enforcement of the disciplines of Medicinal and Natural Product Chemistry as integral parts in the Pharmaceutical industry R&D departments.
POEs
We expect our bachelor of pharmacy graduates in their first 3-5 years after their graduation to:
1. To have the expertise and knowledge needed to be involved in different pharmaceutical care settings in community pharmacies, industrial sector, pharmaceutical sales and marketing, and drug legislations (Jordanian Food and Drug Administration).
2. To have the ability for continuous self-education of new trends emerging in different fields of pharmacy through different available resources.
3. To have commitment and adhesion to code of ethics used in pharmacy practice.
4. To have the ability of working together with other members working at hospitals, industry, and community pharmacies.
5- To have the leadership skills required for practicing pharmacy profession.
