The Faculty of Engineering is the oldest and largest faculty at Jordan University of Science and Technology. With more than 172 faculty members, 67 supporting staff and 61 research and teaching labs, the Faculty thrives to qualify competent engineers for the local, regional and international job markets. The Faculty adopts a dynamic strategic plan that aims at guarantying quality assurance of its programs and keeping its excellence and leadership in engineering education in Jordan and the region. Towards this end, six undergraduate degree programs in the Faculty of Engineering have been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET of the United States of America. These programs are Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Aeronautical engineering. The other departments are preparing to apply for ABET soon.
