The Bachelor of Science program in Chemical Engineering is a five-year program based on 159 credit hours system. The credit hours are distributed between general university requirements (25 credit hours), faculty requirements (32 credit hours), and department requirements (102 credit hours).

The program is designed bo provide strong background in basic sciences (mathematics, physics, and chemistry), and in chemical engineering fundamentals. The program also offers elective courses (5 courses for a total of 15 credit hours) that covers several topics of interest to the local and regional markets.

Our department offers a thesis-based Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. The program consists of 34 credit hours (16 required courses, 9 electives, and 9 thesis). The degree is granted upon successfully completing an oral presentation on the thesis research topic (check out the research page for faculty research interests). Applications to the program can be made in person (procedures can be found here) or via the online applicaiton system (found here).
