The Department of Institutional Performance and Policy Development in the Prime Minister organized an introductory workshop at Jordan University of Science and Technology about Crown Prince Award for the Best Government Services in the presence of the Vice President, Prof. Mohammad Al-Abini, and the Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Prof. Ismail Al-Humaidi and a number of the teaching and the administrative members in the University.
The team presented a comprehensive presentation on the objectives of the award and the mechanisms of participation. They also pointed out the importance of the award as a window of creativity and innovation in which Jordanian university students can compete to provide the best applications that serve the institutions in the society.
From his part, Prof. Al-Abini clarified that the university is ready to provide all the services that facilitate the team's tasks and emphasized that the faculty members and the students in the university should take advantage of this award. Al-Humaidi also pointed out that the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology will provide the technical support and the experience of the university students to participate in this award.
It is worth to mention that, on April 16, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II patronized the award ceremony in which 30 thousand university students in Jordan could participate to win in one of three prizes totaling JD100,000 provided by the Government of UAE for the top three applications offered by the students
