A memorandum of understanding between Jordan University of Science and Technology and Ataturk Turkish University .
Jordan University of Science and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding with the Turkish University of Ataturk, it was signed by the Acting President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, Dr. Khalid Al-Salem, and the President of the Turkish Ataturk University, Dr. Omar Jumkali .
This Memorandum of understanding aims at enhancing scientific cooperation between the two universities, implementing research and educational and cultural activities between the two universities, exchanging faculty members and students, participating in scientific conferences and seminars , exchanging publications issued by both universities and implementing short-term academic programs.
The two universities intend to sign a cooperation agreement for the exchange of students and faculty members between the two universities in various academic disciplines as part of the European Erasmus Plus program in support of student and academic exchange between institutions of higher education.
During the signing ceremony, Dr. Khalid Al- Salem stressed the keenness of Jordan University of Science and Technology to expand its network of scientific and research cooperation with Ataturk University in Turkey, in recognition of its outstanding scientific reputation. This gives students and faculty members of Jordan University of Science and Technology an opportunity to recognize and join a new learning environment.
Dr-Jumakli expressed his pleasure to cooperate with Jordan University of Science and Technology, which has a distinguished scientific reputation among its counterparts in the region, stressing his readiness to activate the terms of this agreement, thus contributing to a scientific addition to the academic process of both universities.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Arts, Dr. Qutaiba Al -Khatatbah, and the Director of the Language Center Dr. Fathi Migdadi.
