His Excellency Dr. Kamel Al-Ajlouni

Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) celebrated  the publication of the book "University of Science and Technology of Jordan from 86 to 95" by the founder of the University of Science and Technology, (HE) Dr. Kamel Al-Ajlouni, in the presence of former Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Raouf Rawabdeh and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University.

Dr. Abdel-Majeed Naseer, Professor Dr. Fayez El-Khasawneh, the President of the University, Dr. Omar Al-Jarrah, and Mr.Ahmed Al-Sheyab spoke at the ceremony.

Dr. Fayez Khasawneh reviewed Dr. Al-Ajlouni's journey, starting with the establishment of the university, where he was the first president of the university during the period 1986-1995.

The University President, Dr. Omar Al-Jarrah, said that it is an honor to stand in front of a distinguished figure that he first knew when he was a student at JUST and expressed his sincere appreciation for his role in the leadership of the Jordanian University of Science and Technology by building academically qualified staff and sending outstanding students to all parts of the world to register success in all academic fields.

Mr. Ahmed Al-Shyab pointed that Dr. Kamel Al-Ajlouni's journey was not an easy one and it was full of obstacles and challenges but also full of determination.

 Dr. Mohammed Al-Thunibat, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University and Dr. Omar Al-Jarrah, President of the University, honored His Excellency Dr. Kamel Al-Ajlouni with the Farabi classy necklace.

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Ajlouni thanked the university and the participants, recalling a number of academic and administrative figures who had fingerprints still printed in the university's memory.

The ceremony was attended by a number of professors, vice presidents, deans of faculties and a number of members of the teaching and administrative staff.
