In compliance with the department mission, a set of objectives have been laid out as follows:
CPEO 1. [Career Oriented] To produce highly qualified graduates for the professional workforce with strong fundamental knowledge in mathematical, scientific and computing principles, modern tools, engineering analysis and design, and experiential learning.
CPEO 2. [Integration] To provide the graduates the ability to design, develop, and integrate hardware and software components in digital systems in an effective and systematic approach.
CPEO 3. [Depth]To prepare the graduates to pursue advanced studies in various areas of computing by offering in-depth knowledge in the areas of software engineering, computer architecture, networking and security, intelligent systems, and VLSI design.
CPEO 4. [Lifelong learning] To prepare the graduates the ability to engage in lifelong learning, enhance their knowledge, and advance in their career in a world of evolving technology.
CPEO 5. [Professionalism] To equip the graduates with the essential workplace skills of interpersonal communication, ethical and professional behavior, and team playing.
CPEO 6. [Research] To promote research in computer engineering and related interdisciplinary areas.
