The software engineering program at JUST will implement the university's mission by facilitating the personal and professional growth of its students so that they can become effective contributors to the IT industry in Jordan and the Middle East as a whole. Graduates of the software engineering program will: 

1. be proficient in the theories and the best practices of the software engineering discipline. 

2. be prepared and self-motivated to have a solid foundation in mathematics and science. 

3. be effective in building software products and skilled in applying software process to software components and systems. 

4. be proficient in oral and written communication, and effective in teamwork. 

5. demonstrate professional and ethical responsibilities according to the ACM/IEEE code of ethics.
