Mission:
To be a leader in enhancing the health of people in Jordan by training and graduating health care professionals who are competent in a broad range of diagnostic, communication and organizational skills, who are conscious of their social responsibilities and committed to lifelong learning, research, providing high quality patient care, and serving the people of Jordan and the region to the best they could.
Objectives:
To train medical students to develop a sound basis for life-long learning, encourage critical, creative and innovative thinking.
To educate students in a manner re-enforcing the importance of the human nature of their career so that they could relate sympathetically to patients and families.
To motivate students to be interested in academic medicine or biomedical science, by providing an environment in which basic and clinical research are actively pursued.
To graduate students who possess a sound appreciation of ethical, legal and community issues so that they can be an integral productive part of society.
To provide a learner-centered curriculum that integrates strong basic sciences, ethical principals, professional standards, and outstanding clinical training.
To provide an intellectually stimulating environment by maximizing and optimizing the number of faculty members in relation to class size.
