The department offers, in addition to undergraduate courses, a 2-year master program in Periodontics, Orthodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry. The Department is planning to start other postgraduate and residency programs in Pediatric Dentistry and Periodontics. The programs are designed to correspond with the requirements of the Jordanian Medical board so that the graduates of these programs should be able to pass the specialty exams held by the Jordanian Medical Board.

In addition to the academic goals carried out through teaching undergraduate and post graduate programs, the Department fosters an innovative approach towards serving the community and improving the standard of research and quality of dentists through constant participation in refreshing courses offered by Jordan Medical Council and Jordan Dental Association for new dental graduates preparing to sit for the licensing exam in Jordan.

The faculty members have always  been among the first to volunteer in local society service activities such as continuing education lectures and health education to the public.
