Vision:
The substantial recent lifestyle changes in Jordan have forced significant changes in food- and nutrition-related fields including individuals' eating patterns, food processing, and food preservation techniques. The vision of the Department of Nutrition and Food Technology is to prepare qualified graduates who can successfully meet the challenges of today's healthcare requirements, and who can promote public health through direct contact with the public (nutritional counseling) or with the food industry.
Mission:
The mission of the Human Nutrition and Food Technology Program at Jordan University of Science and Technology is to provide students with the necessary contemporary knowledge and practical skills to prepare them for satisfying careers in the food and health industries.
