To follow a steady continuous path of improvement, learning, and investigation that leads to excellence in veterinary teaching, research, and services. The department conveys knowledge and skills in the disciplines of gross and microscopic anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, bacteriology, parasitology, immunology and virology, all of which are central to the education of veterinarians. We fulfill our mission by educating professional, graduate, and veterinarians so that the veterinary profession can continue its vital roles in professional and community services and health.
