Objectives

Our faculty have instructional responsibilities for bacteriology, immunology, virology, microbiology, anatomy, pharmacology and Physiology. Concurrent with the teaching activities, the department contributes to the advancement of knowledge and the veterinary profession through its experimental and clinical investigations of animal diseases. The department emphasizes on understanding the causes of infectious disease in animals and the mechanisms by which diseases develop at the organism, cellular and molecular levels.
