Mission

Creating a research environment that is conductive to both basic and applied research to promote the generation of knowledge and to support the development process in Jordan.

Objectives

1. Identify, support and reward excellence and achievement in research and development.

2. Ensure that the University has effective planning and information systems in support of research and knowledge transfer.

3. Increase research income and improve the recovery of direct and indirect costs of research funded by external sponsors.

4. Establish direction and priorities for cross-disciplinary research.

5. Foster research collaborations and knowledge transfer with regional and national universities, with international universities and institutes, and with employers and commercial partners to address research needs.
