Strategic Activities

1

Continue the building of the internal quality assurance system for the university (academic and administrative):

 

1- To continue the process of the establishment of the quality assurance office at the university as well as the organizational structure.

2- To form several divisions for quality assurance assessment that covers academic and administrative units (medical campus division, engineering campus division, and the administrative units divisions)

3- To perform self assessment for the special accreditations standards for all the programs

 Perform training workshops and continue to emphasize the culture of quality in the university

 

1- Inviting experts in the field from different places

2- Educating the faculty and staff on quality assurance

3- Appointing representatives on the board of quality assurance at the university

 developing relevant and standardized forms for the assessment for educational performance to continue improving quality assurance processes

 

1- Developing evaluation and assessment forms that covers areas in: course preparation and examination and other related topics

2- To institute the necessary governing rules and regulations for using the quality assurance processes

 Gaining general and private accreditation through the HEAC

 

1- Filing the required forms and application for the general accreditation according to the HEAC

2- Filing the special accreditation forms for all faculties

 Building the basis for the institutional research to coordinate research and assessment through statistical reports as required

 

1- Establishing the division of institutional research

2- Developing the reporting system that covers the following:

a- student reports:

I- Students feedback

                II- students profiles by faculty

                III- enrollment reports

                IV- retention rates

                V-graduation rates

 

b- Faculty and staff reports

c- University reports

d- Alumni and Employer reports

Establish the necessary components for the centralized academic advising at the university on large

 

1- To institute the necessity of academic advising at the university

2- To establish a centralized unit that handle academic advising

3- To acquire the necessary tools and instruments for academic advising: learning and study strategies inventory (LASSI), student satisfaction inventory (SSI)
