Expression and Virology Division is a research and diagnostic facility which
focus on various types of RNA and microRNA as biological biomarkers in addition
to research on the DNA level using high throughput techniques in collaboration
with the academic staff from JUST and other institutions. The lab is equipped
with Affymetrix Genechip Microarray, Several Platforms of Real-Time PCR, Pyrosequencer,
QIA-Cube for automated extraction, and Nanodrop for DNA/RNA Quality Testing.
The combination of instrumentation have allowed us to provide the diagnostic
services and implementing short and long term high quality research project. We
are providing the diagnostic services for patients from different sources such
as the Ministry of Health, Hospitals and Clinics. Main diagnostic services
include Hepatitis B and C Virus quantification, and detection of swine flu
