Pharmaceutical Research Center (PRC) - Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) is an independent administrative unit supervised by and directly linked to the University President. PRC-JUST is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) that is accredited by and subject to regular inspections of the Jordanian Food and Drug Administration (JFDA).

    The expansion of pharmaceutical industries in the region, and the need of highly reputable institutions to serve the pharmaceutical expansion was the main reason after the establishment of PRC-JUST.

PRC-JUST provides services and consultations in the areas of drug discovery, development and evaluation.

    King Abdullah University Hospital (KAUH), a modern and highly equipped leading educational hospital in the region, is the approved and accredited clinical site for PRC to conduct the safety and efficacy clinical trials, and the clinical part of pharmacokinetic, bioequivalence, and toxicity studies. The up to date facilities along with the research oriented specialists make KAUH a suitable site to conduct various clinical trials.

 The Analytical Facility at PRC-JUST is supplied with state- of- the- art instruments for the bioanalytical purposes. PRC-JUST also has the advantage of using the facilities at KAUH laboratories for analysis and research purposes.

    All projects at PRC-JUST are regulated by the locally and internationally accepted Good Laboratory Practice and Good Clinical Practice guidelines. The Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) is in charge of ensuring full compliance with these guidelines.
