In 2002 the HC which is located in the City of Irbid was declared as the first  family medicine center in Jordan provide comprehensive, continuous, coordinated & distinguished (both quality & quantity) unique health services with reasonable costs for all with sustainable commitment for development & improvement with the best use of resources.

The HC is a teaching & training center which is recognized by Jordan Medical Council beside the Arab Medical Council as an examination for residency program.

It is also a training center for the undergraduate fifth year medical, nursing, pharmacy and paramedical students.

The HC is a referral center for KAUH & provides a 24hr services.

The HC is committed to work with other network services for serving community.​​​
