Because the language of instruction is highly specialized, particularly for basic and major courses taught in English, newly-admitted students are offered an optional program that aims at advancing students' skills in basic scientific courses and in English language. The preparatory program runs for three consecutive semesters (First, Second and Summer) during which students take remedial courses in the fields of English, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics.
