Triggered by its national duty to endow more academic studying opportunities in Jordan for Jordanian and Arab High-School Certificate holders, the University initiated the parallel program in 1996. The program aims at preparing top-quality Jordanian and non-Jordanian students who are given the chance to obtain their degrees from a highly-reputable academic institution. The parallel and the regular programs as very much alike in terms of the curriculum, use of university utilities, training, examination regulations, assessment, and academic follow-up of students. Students enrolled in the two programs register in the same sections. The only difference is in the tuition fees that need to be paid by students enrolled in each program.
