Students who are admitted within the parallel program need to go through the following steps in order to complete their admission procedures. They need to check at the following locations:

First: Checking at the Students' Activity Building to do the following procedures:

  • The student needs to fill in the enrolment application, enclosed with the following documents:
    • Transcript:
      • Original Jordanian General Secondary School Certificate Transcript or a copy of it certified by Directorates of Education in Jordan).
      • Original General Secondary School Certificate Transcript issued from Arab states or a copy of it certified by Ministry of Education in Jordan).
    • A certified copy of the Civil Identification Card (for Jordanians only).
    • Original Birth Certificate or a copy of it certified by Department of Civil Affairs.
    • Three passport photographs size 4X6 cm.
    • Military Service Book for male Jordanians.
    • A Letter of Permission for Armed Forces affiliates.
    • Students allowed into the bridging program should provide the previous documents in addition to the following:
      • Copies of their College Degree and the transcripts certified by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
      • A concordance of non-Jordanian College degrees issued by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Jordan.
      • A certified Course Description for the courses enlisted in the transcript that can be considered to obtain advanced standing.
  • The student submits the above documents at the Admission Desk where an admission officer does the following:
    • Ensuring that the student's name is enlisted in the Unified List of Newly-Admitted Students.
    • Ensuring that the student's average as it appears in the list is the same as the average enlisted in the transcript.
    • Verifying that the student's nationality is Jordanian by checking the national number on the Civil Identification Card. The officer who signs in verification of admission will be held in charge of his signature. If the applicant is not Jordanian, the officer must mark the application and inform the other members of the committee to cancel the processing of the application.
    • Stating the student's major.
    • Identifying class of admission as it appears in the list and the student's seat number.
    • Stating the appropriate tuition fees for the student's particular major on the enrolment form
    • Signing the enrolment form.
  • Students admitted through the Royal Grant must check at the Military Scholarships Office to obtain a statement of sponsoring.
  • Admitted students must check at the University clinic to carry out a medical test.
  • Students must check at the Financial Affairs Unit to pay the stated tuition fees.  Except for the insurance fee, all paid tuition fees are non-refundable. The money receipt will include the following information:
    • The student's university number.
    • Place and date of English language skills test.
    • Place and date of computer skills test.
    • Date of registration of courses and payment of the rest of the fees
    • Date of the beginning of the semester.
  • Male Jordanian students must check at the Military Service Office to get a signed approval on their applications.
  • Students must check with an admission officer to open a file for each new student that contains all required documents, the money receipt and the undertaking signed by the student.
  • At the end of this stage, the officer who has received the file will sign it and submit it to the statistics committee.

Second: Checking at the Arts Activities Building to pursue the following procedures:

  • Fill in a student profile.
  • Sign an undertaking not to smoke on-campus.
  • Make a student identification card.
  • Receive the Student's Guidebook.
  • Learn about dates of orientation tours around the campus and meetings with deans, chairpersons of academic departments and advisors, per schedule prepared by the Deanship of Students Affairs.

Third: Running the English language proficiency test and Computer skills tests per dates specified in the money receipt handed to students upon admission.
